Teriyaki Chicken Wing Sauce

These are sweet and savory with a slight kick to them. Pretty awesome!

 

Sauce:

20 oz can pineapple drained

I jalapeno chopped (remove the seeds if you don’t want them too spicy)

3 cloves garlic minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger chopped

I cup water

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

slurry (1/3 cup water mixed with 3 tablespoons cornstarch)

 

In food processor add pineapple, jalapeno, ginger and garlic. Pulse 7 or 8 times.

In saucepan add water, brown sugar, soy sauce and oyster sauce. Heat on medium until it begins to boil. Add pineapple mixture and bring back to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 4 to 5 minutes until sauce begins to thicken. Add slurry stirring constantly until sauce is thick..
